Todos hemos oido hablar del grupo Saudita DAG, Dallah Al-Baraka Group, en un primer momento cuando salto el escandalo de Ailanto, con International Sports Events Co. (Isec) como parte del conglomerado de empresas, que disponia de los derechos, sobre los amistosos de la seleccion Brasileña.

Posteriormente el nombre del grupo DAG, continuo apareciendo en los medios, vinculado a la venta de la compañia de Sandro Rosell, Bonus Sport Marketing.

Pero, que sabemos realmente de esta empresa Saudi?, con la que Sandro Rosell parece que mantiene una "relacion comercial o coordial"

Dallah Al-baraka Group:

El grupo se inicio en una empresa de servicos de limpieza y mantenimiento, en 1969, fue fundado y esta dirigido en la actualidad por Saleh Adullah Kamel. En 1975 se fundo Dallah avco, especializada en la construccion, operacion y mantenimiento de proyectos aeroportuario, ganado numerosos contratos con el Ministerio Saudi de Defensa y Aviacion, lo que catapulto el crecimiento y la diversificacion del grupo.

En la actualidad el grupo esta presente en Medios de Comunicacion de radio y television, Construccion, Banca y Finanzas Islamicas, Seguros, Administracion Publica, Turismo, etc.

Esta considerado en la actualidad una de las mayores compañias de Oriente Medio y del Mundo Arabe.

Sepp Blatter y los derechos de television en la World Cup:

"Kamel secured the exclusive Middle East broadcast rights to the FIFA World Cup up to 2014. He said he’d have signed for 2040 if he could. The deal angered football fans across the region – the World Cup had previously been free-to-air, ART demanded fans subscribe to the channel, with limited repeat rights given to local broadcasters. Tough business, but not unheard of. Kamel paid big bucks for the rights and expected a bump for the station as a whole. Fans vented their fury on ART, but the real man to blame? Sepp Blatter, the president of FIFA. Blatter has overseen a sharp rise in FIFA revenues but is not stranger to controversy. In 2006 he suggested women footballers wear tighter shorts to please TV viewers."
